Fine Dining in Kayuputih

Nestled on the beach, the flagship restaurant of The St. Regis Balis Resort, Kayuputih (literally translated into ‘white wood’) is true to its name. The interior is a light, bright, breezy and extremely classy affair with quality Modern Asian cuisine to match. The ocean facing restaurant features a stunning commitment to high end dining with meticulous consideration being given to the lunch and dinner menus by resident Executive Chef Oscar Perez and his team of culinary wunderkinds.  The mezzanine floor hosts private tables affording diners an elevated view of the ocean whilst  the main air conditioned dining room seats around ninety patrons leading out to a private number of choices from revered producers such as Taittingers, Moet & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Krug and Dom Perrignon. The Chilled and Grilled Seafood Selections are the signature dishes of the house, a selection of premium imported chilled sashimi, Tasmanian salmon and Washington oysters amongst others followedby the grilled choices of half Bali lobster, king prawn tempura with coconut milk and an exquisite Miso Marinated Butter Fish wrapped in fragrant hoba leaf. The overriding sense of communall exploration of taste and sharing new culinary experiences is at the heart of the concept behind Kayuputih – a dining experience par excellence.

Fine Dining in Boneka

The breakfast and brunch experience at Boneka completely rewrites the rules with arguably the most decadent ‘early doors’ dishes being served on the island. Believing that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, the chefs at Boneka have done awaywith the traditional nation of a self service buffet and instead exclusively prepare each and every hot dish a la minute. From freshly baked pastries to delicacies such as the Egg Nouvelle (lobster ragout, parsley cream and salmon roe) to the rustic Foie Gras and Fried Eggs, Boneka simply supprises and delights the palate.

Sunday brunch at the St. Regins Bali Resort commences in The King Cole Bar adjacent to Boneka with a twist on the St. Regis classic Bloody Mary – Bali Mary, a spicy concotion that embraces the very essence of the island. A live Jazz quartet accompanies guest across the foyer to Boneka where a traditional prime rib carvery await. Dinner at Boneka is a Modern Asian affair. The Gin Tomatto flambe King Prawns is the house signature but be sure to leave enough appetite for the fine choice of premium meat and fish main courses and the truly Asian menu that encapsulates the spirit of adventurous dining across South East Asia.
